We can easily find various shaped metal labels, rectangle, oval, round, square, heart or even irregular ones. But can you recognize what the shaping comes from?

Generally, we would consider suitable proceeding against the different thicknesses of metal tags.

1. Chemical etching
It perfectly suits to etch tags within 1 mm thick against stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum. Just by etching solution precisely adjusted. The only disadvantage of chemical etching is edge burrs, the thicker the metal, the bigger burrs. But we always do polishing after etching is done.

2. Die punch by mold
This is used widely to achieve metal tags by customized mold, it can bring the tag shape at once in a short time and the tag edge is always smooth and tidy.
But there is always special mistake request in artwork or design, the metal material is always stainless steel, brass, and aluminum.

3. Die casting by mold
Casting can easily achieve a 3D surface for the metal tag, it can bring a complex drawing or design into real metal items. Zinc and aluminum alloy is the default material and item thickness should be above 1.5 mm in minimum.
